Vegetables

“We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.”

–   Aldo Leopold

On our farm, we grow roughly 250 different varieties of produce and 40 distinct types of vegetables.

Every single item we offer is grown with love and care by us – at Wildwood.  Our growing practices are aligned with the National Organic Program standards for Organic certification, though we have chosen not to incur the cost and headache of organic certification through a third party inspector. We believe that because we have a relationship with each one of our customers, we don’t require an outside party to affirm that we are in fact doing what we already know we are doing. If you have any questions about our growing practices, please just ask – we’ll be happy to talk crop with you.
